Numinous Magazine Party
I was asked to be one of the designers to show at the Numinous Magazine Release Party at the 3rd & Girard Bar in Philadelphia earlier this year. Talk about a great way to start the new year. You can find more information on all the models and artists on Facebook.

Sibyl Vain at The SFX Party

The whole group! Me and all the lovely models that rocked the new collection at The SFX Party in NYC at R Bar. So gorgeous.
(left to right) Belinda, Erin Poland, Gigi Rose, Melissa Saurus Wrecks, Me, Angelana Jones, Mika Kenyah, Katrina RM and Niazja Blessed
And if you want more info on these gorgeous ladies, check out the fanpage and links are all around.

Above photos are by Mark Williams and the following were taken by the crazy Falling Down on the Random.
What also blew me away for the night was the stellar make-up by DiscoMakeupAire and...OMG. Amelia of A is for Arsenic did the most amazing pin-up hair and lent out jewelry for the night. STUNNING!
It was such a party and everyone had so much fun. It was probably the smoothest shows I've done. Usually I'm running around and going nuts, but this one ran like clockwork. Which made me a little nervous something bad was going to happen, but I think the worst was that I went home before 2am.

Nattestid and Gil Rivera
So how could anything go wrong? Well...they didn't. Except for being in a cold studio because I complain about everything, some incredible shots came from this.
You can check out more images on my website or Facebook. Like the fanpage and you'll see lots more images even before I post them here!

Chloe VonCreepy Is the Sweetest!
I had given a bunch of pretties to the lovely Chloe VonCreepy the other week for a photoshoot she had coming up. Not only was she able to shoot a couple looks, she also made this AWESOME and super sweet video blog talking about my line.
Check it out as she describes pieces I gave her and she also does a mini fashion show. Plus, there's behind the scenes video of her recent shoot showing her do Beetlejuice makeup and being on set.
Chloe is just amazing and be sure to check out her other videos and be sure to send her some love and say Hi!

Sugar & Spikes Drop Dead Gorgeous Fashion Show
Did you join us for this event? You missed one hell of a night if you weren't out.
I can't believe this happened a month ago. It was a great event as always by the Sugar & Spikes ladies and I had the best models rock a lot of new designs.
Here's a clip of the night, showing off all that went down. From burlesque, magic and two other amazing designers. Can you spot me?
And for some of my favorite images of the night (photo cred: Karina Antigua - Ely Kay). For more info, photos or just want to find out more on the clothing and gorgeous ladies, check out my Fanpage.

Just Gorgeous!
I don't need any big intro for these images. They speak for themselves and are stunning!
The gorgeous AiTenshiMisha asked to borrow a couple pieces and I was happy to oblige. Turned out too she was shooting with Alicia C. Photgraphy! Alicia C. was one of the first photographers I worked with back when I started and I've watched how incredible her career has become over the past couple years. Plus AiTenshiMisha is one of her main models, so it was great to finally work with her.

Thom Browne - My New Idol
I've seen collections by Thom Browne before, but they never really clicked with. Then I came across his Fall 2012 Menswear Collection via www.Outsapop.com
Holy shit. It's brilliant.
It's like everthing in fashion has been done before and moving forward, we're playing with shapes and proportions. Thom Browne hits it dead on. Let the images speak for themselves.
I just love the crazy football player/Herman Munster proportions looks. It's smart, out there and yet disturbs me every time I look at it.
Even more, I ventured over to his website and he has a few of his collection presentations videos posted and it's incredible. It's right alongside what McQueen and Galliano did and Browne is American - not that it's inconceivable an American can pull it off, but who else is doing shows like this that kind of have a 'fuck you' underneath all the high fashion snobbery?

Fool's Gold Event & Fashion Show
Photos and extras are taking forever to come in from the recent event I did. So far I only have two professional shots in and I've posted them below.
I'm really excited for the festival we got over here in New Jersey - The Bamboozle. There's so many good bands this year. Last year was absolutely horrid and just a horrible time. So this year if some bitch decides to cut the 30minute line for water and throw an attitude, the fact I get to see Jared Leto, Senses Fail and Motley Crue in one weekend will make up for it.
I'm excited too because I wrote three articles for the magazine I write for that'll be on the festival grounds. Hopefully they'll all be used and I'm praying a photopass will get approved too.
Got plenty of shoots going on. Working with a lot of familiar faces and a bunch of new ones. I get like new photos in every week and they are so killer. I want to get a few more together from people and then I'll start posting them here.
The website has been up and running, but I'm still incredibly lazy in updating. Still check it out, I'm in love with this site - www.SibylVainClothing.com

Giuseppina Magazine
The lovely Chloe Von Creepy asked to wear one of my dresses for her Giuseppina Magazine feature.
Go buy the magazine or find more images on Giuseppina's Facebook or Chloe's page. It was for their Halloween special issue and I couldn't think of a model more appropriate for this holiday than Chloe.
Check it out!
Red sparkle mermaid dress (wish you could have seen the whole dress, but she's also wearing that dress for my runway show at Reflections this year)

Here's some other images taken that day!

That's her boyfriend sitting next to her.

Reflections 2010! Pt. 1
www.ReflectionsProject.com
for more info and fun
OK! My collection shown at Reflections was inspired by sideshow and circus acts. Each look was a particular character and my interpretation of them. Check out the photos below.
I'm going around stealing photos and waiting for more - I really wish I had enlisted my one friend to take photos with my camera. Oh wells...
SO much happened at Reflections 2010, held at Polaris nightclub in Philadelphia. It's crazy how you go in, thinking there's like 8 hours till your show takes the stage and you can kick back and slowly get things together and then it's like BAM! 30 minutes before the models take the stage.
Got there after lunchtime, went and got food, started setting up then it was like - hurdles popped up, got caught in conversations, went back and forth with what outfit each model should wear...that my friend is how 2pm quickly becomes 8pm.
It was cool because there was artwork being displayed and me and the main woman behind the event, Rebecca Marchand, are big AFI freaks and there was AFI-related pieces that put a smile on my face.
This is Part 1 of the my Reflections experience and I guess, I'm going to start with the end result - it was awesome! If you missed it, you suck.
I did leave around midnight, which is when the real fun began, but a 2 hour drive back home was not something I wanted to tackle at 2am on 5 hours of sleep.
I'll end with images. So far it's all I've found and are super awesome. This photographer shot Reflections last year and his images were my favorite of the bunch and this year was no different.

Rock n' Roll Fashion Show
Ok, so about two weeks ago...
I was SO grateful to be asked again by the ladies of Sugar n' Spikes to participate in their second fashion show event. Bands of the night were TSI, Panzie & Hate in the Box (whose lead singer, Rainbow Blight, is the sweetest!).
My collection went first, followed by the debut of Alina Butnaru's intimate apparel awesomeness (have to find her link, b/c she was so cool) and then last was Natasha NYC (NatashaNYC.com - and dude! If I had known better, I would have been freaking out being in her presence, but of course I'm dumb sometimes)
Ok! So here's some of the choice images - I'm waiting on video
These were taken by Knightmare6 Photography and are my favorites so far - http://www.knightmare6.com/
I'll be adding more to Facebook - so add me there if you haven't already (link to the right)
Forest rocking polka dot leggings, white pvc bustier & tassle shrug with hobo bow gloves. She killed it!

Olivia in pink leopard garter dress (accessories her own) - so cute!

Ilena Nova being Wonder Woman in red metallic bodysuit and polka dot peak-a-boo vest, which you really can't see, but isn't this shot to die for?

Gorgeous Brandy D in leopard leotard and revamped vest

Awesome Sasha being lady-like in a high waisted sparkle skirt and leopard crop top, belt does make it look one piece, but it's not

Tons more images from Tiffany Ann Photography to come, review of another fashion show/concert I attended, magazine mentions and a sorta top secret project I'm apart of.
