I worked with Chloe of Skeleton Key Photography for the Holiday/Winter Line and we got together for a special shoot at ReBar in New Jersey. Was stoked to have model/mua Amanda Grande strike a pose and she's like a combo of Angelina and Kat Dennings. We also had friends come out to provide background support and it turned into one big party. All clothing Sibyl Vain.

Numinous Magazine Party
I was asked to be one of the designers to show at the Numinous Magazine Release Party at the 3rd & Girard Bar in Philadelphia earlier this year. Talk about a great way to start the new year. You can find more information on all the models and artists on Facebook.

Vintage Sibyl Vain

This photoshoot happened I think three years ago. Yeah. Things happen and I've been sitting on these for that long. I am a horrible human being for keeping these from the world.
The incredible Kami as shot by Barrie Anne (then Barrie Blau, but someone had to go and get engaged...so wonderful!).
Kami is a dream to work with and swear, this girl cannot take an ugly photo. One of the best models to work with and from what I hear and see, quite the hairstylist too!

Queen of the Jungle...Long Overdue Recap

Back in January, on a freezing night, Brooklyn Wildlife and La Bella Roma transformed a small NYC lounge into the jungle! I was asked by Mika of Sugar & Spikes to provide clothing for the fashion show part of the night. Alongside killer make-up artists (Devin Dollface Alexis, Crystal Cakeface) and hair stylists (Gloria Espinoza), we made these girls show their animalistic side with Mika taming them as they made their walk into the crowd. (I've forgotten some names, let me know if you see who I've forgotten)
It was a fun night and the main event was a beauty pageant between burlesque performers and drag queens! Too many beautiful ladies all around.
Afterwards, me, my sister and her good friend hit up Otto's Shrunken Head in NYC and got glow in the dark drinks and danced to doo-wop. And of course, ended the evening with disco fries at the nearby diner. You can catch those adventures on my Instagram - SibylVain

Cynical Fashion Magazine Issue #1

I've worked quite a bit with mua Brittany Diaz and her main photographer, Madness Photography. They have been turning out images like crazy and doing big things, so it's only natural a magazine would follow.
Cynical Fashion Magazine will be released April 1st and I was so flattered to be asked to provide wardrobe for their first cover and for an editorial. Even more stoked that the featured model would be Allison Goldfire. Whoa.
Make sure you check it out and for more updates, add the Sibyl Vain Facebook

Tattoo Glamour
Here's a couple images from a shoot I provided some wardrobe on. Orchestrated by make-up extraordinaire, Brittany Diaz and photographer Madness Photography, the shoot was going to be on the glam side of things.
The make up was to die for and Chazy of Madness Photography captured the models beautifully. The girls were Jinxi Jey, Karma Kitty Mariko and Tina HeartThrob and oh yes...there was a male model on hand - J Michael Kent - but you have to go to Madness's site to see how he fell into the story.
Pretty and badass? Quite so.

Chloe VonCreepy Is the Sweetest!
I had given a bunch of pretties to the lovely Chloe VonCreepy the other week for a photoshoot she had coming up. Not only was she able to shoot a couple looks, she also made this AWESOME and super sweet video blog talking about my line.
Check it out as she describes pieces I gave her and she also does a mini fashion show. Plus, there's behind the scenes video of her recent shoot showing her do Beetlejuice makeup and being on set.
Chloe is just amazing and be sure to check out her other videos and be sure to send her some love and say Hi!

Ab Fab!
Towards the end of the summer I had been asked by mua Brittany Diaz to be on set for a shoot with British photographer, Jon Russell Green.
We had done two days of shooting - the first was kind of crazy, but these really fun laundromat explosion images came from it. Our model for this set was Lauren, who is absolutely gorgeous!
The second day, we shot at a bubble tea shop called Something Sweet and I overdosed on bubble tea and cupcakes. Our models on day two were Heather Ann and BlackLite Bonnie. So great working with these girls.
The models looked so sweet and cute in the shop and then we edged them out for outside shots. What's awesome is the flag mural we shot against was seen in one episode of VH1's Big Ang when they took aeial shots of Staten Island. We kept joking how they should channel the ladies of 'Ab Fab.'
Here's some of the photos from this shoot and I have more on the website. All clothing is Sibyl Vain. Yay!

Sugar & Spikes Drop Dead Gorgeous Fashion Show
Did you join us for this event? You missed one hell of a night if you weren't out.
I can't believe this happened a month ago. It was a great event as always by the Sugar & Spikes ladies and I had the best models rock a lot of new designs.
Here's a clip of the night, showing off all that went down. From burlesque, magic and two other amazing designers. Can you spot me?
And for some of my favorite images of the night (photo cred: Karina Antigua - Ely Kay). For more info, photos or just want to find out more on the clothing and gorgeous ladies, check out my Fanpage.

Futuristic Barbarella
How insane are these images?
It has been a long time in the making for me and Elli Fox to finally work together and I couldn't have asked for a better opportunity! She asked for futuristic pieces and immediately I thought bodysuits. I mean, you say future and I think like Star Trek and the weird uniforms they wore. I had some really cool material already on hand and I also bought some really cool hologram material I hadn't worked with before to create pieces for Elli Fox to choose from. Then to my surprised, she shot them all!
photo - Francisco Castro Photography
model - Elli Fox
mua/hair - Amy Ockermand
jewelry designer - Serket Jewelry
clothing - Sibyl Vain: purple laser cut bodysuit, faux sequin leotard, hologram bodysuit

Just Gorgeous!
I don't need any big intro for these images. They speak for themselves and are stunning!
The gorgeous AiTenshiMisha asked to borrow a couple pieces and I was happy to oblige. Turned out too she was shooting with Alicia C. Photgraphy! Alicia C. was one of the first photographers I worked with back when I started and I've watched how incredible her career has become over the past couple years. Plus AiTenshiMisha is one of her main models, so it was great to finally work with her.

2012 Kick Off
Had the first photoshoot of 2012 with the photographer who I did my first ever photoshoot with - Creepshow Photography.
We had Jezzter and Sarah Strange Wings playing the parts of stunning models, Miranda Zip doing make-up and I even had my assistant Miss Connie on set to help! It was quite a fun time and on top of that...we were celebrating Creepshow's Birthday!
It was such a fun time and I always love how Julie Creepshow directs models. Plus Sarah and Jezzter blew me away with their posing (I was in love with the first look we did) and Miranda surprised me with glitter lips and dramatic eyes.
We did the first (shown above) at this abandon building we randomly found. We decided it must have been a school. But I started getting freaked out and stood by every opened window in case a ghost or vagabond appeared and I had to make a fast escape - I felt bad, but I was only concerned about my escape and not the others, haha. It was pretty creepy and we even found an animal skull.
We went back to home base and dressed the girls up like hipster party girls - night and day and you're going to love it!
Lastly after a pizza party, little black dresses were worn and Jezzter was a 50-foot bendable woman and Sarah became a guitar goddess.
I can't wait to get back more images and show them off. There'll be lots more updating too. The holidays killed me and then I was under attack by a mild cold that for some reason sucked the life out of me.
